Q. How long does a session last?
A. A typical 12-meal session will take you approximately two hours. Plan on an hour and a half for a 9-meal session, and you would need about one hour to make six meals.
Q. How many people are there at a session?
A. On average, there are usually 8-12 people attending each session.
Q. What do I need to bring with me to my session?
A. You don't need to bring anything with you. We will supply the necessary pans and storage bags. We highly suggest that you bring a medium-to-large sized cooler to transport your meals home safely. If you don't have a cooler handy, a basket or sturdy box will do, too.
Q. What should I wear?
A. You should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. We will have aprons available for you to wear during your session. If you have long hair, please wear it back.
Q. Once I've arrived at my session, can I change the dishes I've signed up for?
A. We purchase and prep ingredients specifically for each person who signs up. Although it is not possible to cancel an item at the last minute, it is often possible to add additional items once at a session. Check with one of our staff to make sure we can accommodate your request.
Q. Can I bring a friend with me to my session?
A. Due to state and local regulations, we must limit the number of customers we have attending each session. Our suggestion is that the two of you each order a 6 meal session, prepare them in half-sizes and then divide them up. You'll each go home with 12 meals of 2-3 servings each! If this idea won't work for you, call us the day before your session and we will do our best to accommodate you both.
Q. Can I bring my own baking pans from home?
A. The Board of Health requires that we supply all containers.
